Platte River Parkway

This project involved rehabilitating about half a mile of the Platte River pathway that runs through Amoco Park. This park is located in Casper, Wyoming. The Inberg-Miller team surveyed the existing pathway and surrounding area in order to determine the best alternative routes that could be used with or in place of the existing one. We then prepared conceptual design plans and cost estimates for three different alternatives. Our plans took into account a number of potential engineering issues with reconstructing this part of the pathway. These included the pathway’s proximity to West First Street, possible inundation potential of alternative routes that were closer to the river, and the condition of the existing retaining wall located near the parking lot.
