IME provided P.E.I., the general contractor, with materials and soil testing as well as masonry inspections for the Sherard Hydroelectric Facility being built at the Cheyenne Water treatment plant. The purpose of this project is to use the water flowing from Curt Gowdy State Park to produce additional power for the plant and surrounding area.

The water will flow into the water treatment plant and be directed up to the top of the facility where it will power the turbine at the top. After powering the turbine, the water  will drop down a shaft and flow back into the water treatment facility for traditional usage.
