The Cedar Springs Wind Farm is located just north of Douglas and comprises 192 wind turbines. NextEra Energy Resources broke ground on the project in 2019 and it was operational by the end of 2020. IME drilled over 250 boreholes at the Cedar Springs Wind Farm, allowing Barr Engineering to establish the locations of turbine and substation foundations. IME performed geotechnical drilling, lab work, grouting, and geotechnical logging.
